Breaks
Leg in Vacation Accident
A. N. Almos
received word that his daughter, Mrs. J. H. Fjelde of Fargo
suffered a painful and unfortunate injury recently when she slipped
and fractured her left leg. According to the report Dr. and Mrs.
Fjelde and another couple were just starting a short outing in the
Lake of the Woods country in northern Minnesota and had taken a
house-boat for living quarters while there. Mrs. Fjelde was
boarding the boat when she slipped and fell.
She was taken
to a hospital on the Canadian side of the lake where the fracture
was x-rayed and reduced. Later she was taken back to her home in
Fargo where she is recovering nicely.
