Edmund Eide and Ruth Spelhaug were married in 1934 at Crosby. They lived on a farm in Garnet Township for 32 years. They had three children: Donna, Lowell, and Sharon. Edmund passed away in 1966. Following his death, Ruth lived in Williston. She married Andor Holgerson in 1969. They are living in Alamo.

Lowell & Faye Eide and Yvonne

I was born in Ambrose in 1939, the son of Edmund and Ruth Eide. I have two sisters, Mrs. Dean Skabo (Donna Mae) of Grenora and Mrs. Joyce Knudsvig (Sharon) of Alamo. I graduated from Alamo high school in 1957 and then went into construction work. I married Arla Faye Brown from Veederburg, Indiana in 1968.  We have one daughter, Yvonne, who attends Alamo grade school. In 1969, we started operating my father's farm, which is northeast, section 5-160-99.  We operate a cattle and grain farm and raise a few chickens.
