At this writing 11 of our charter members are on our membership roll. Seven members were awarded 25 year continuous membership bars. Our unit meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at our Legion Club Room. Our Auxiliary works with our Legion Post, the Severson-Larson Post 198. On our roll call we have 33 members.

Our unit has sent a Junior class girl to Girls State for a number of consecutive years. We have 8 members on the Past President Parley. We have 2 Gold Star mothers. They are Mrs. Ole Severson and Mrs. Erick Larson. Each year we sell Poppies on the Saturday before Memorial Day. These are made by the veterans.

Some activities our unit takes part in are: bake sales, rummage sales, suppers, card parties, buy milk for babies in our community, sending gifts to Gift Shop at Christmas, collecting Butternut coupons, baking goodies for our veterans whose wives were killed in a car accident, sewing lap-robes for the veteran's Hospital, collecting old eye glasses and jewelry for "Eyes For The Needy". We are collecting Betty Crocker coupons towards buying a bus for the handicapped at Grand Forks University, sending layettes to St. Luke's Hospital in Crosby, we give gifts at birthday and Christmas to our adopted child, sponsored Teen Canteen for our young people, had Easter Egg hunts for our younger children, collected coupons toward a kidney machine used in North Dakota. We gave money to buy Christmas treats at Ambrose School. We remembered older folks and people living alone with Christmas baskets. We gave blankets and food items to the Good Samaritan Home in Ambrose. We send clothing to our North Dakota Indians.
