This

1943 Blizzard
March 1943 brought a
record blizzard to Ambrose. The young guys in town made a
tunnel down the Main Street sidewalks, then broke it down and
shoveled out the doors. Milton "Sarge" Olson is pictured
above squeezing between two workers while Dean Parsley watches from
